The Seventh-day Adventist Higher Secondary School, 16, Valliammal Road, Vepery, founded in 1951, is an English Medium Private School operated and managed by the South East India Union of Seventh-day Adventist, Chennai.This institution is one of the five thousand schools (including 106 colleges & 6 universities which have enrolled over 67 million students around the globe operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Mission). It is recognized by the Matriculation Board, Government of TamilNadu and also affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.



We, Seventh-day Adventists believe that the Second Advent of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind, is very imminent and that a redeemed Christian is to obey the Ten Commandments of God, including the fourth commandment about the observance of the Seventh-day of the week as the Holy Sabbath.

 

We also believe that the human body is the Temple of God, and therefore, it is expected of every man to take care of his body in the best health abstaining from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea and harmful drugs.
